Winter

Although skiing and surfing are the most important activities in Courchevel, non-skiing people will also have too little time to enjoy everything that will be proposed to them in Courchevel. 

During the day, nature fans will be able to discover the wildlife through hiking with snowshoes. People wanting to have an overview of the valley will enjoy a panorama going so far as the Mont Blanc, located at 100 kilometres, through a flight in a hot air balloon. People looking for indoor sports can go to the ice rink or to the fitness centre, or enjoy one of the swimming pools in the hotels. People wishing to explore new slopes can do some héliski in Italy, nearby Courchevel.

Discovering the forest with snowshoes

At dawn, Courchevel opens its 3 kilometres long sledge slope winding through fir trees, where people can race and compete in the same way that in their childhood. People willing to try new sensations will also be able to race with carts on the ice. Finally, everyone can settle down at the Forum, where video games and bowling are very popular.

Two movie theatres are also available in Courchevel 1850 and one is located in Courchevel 1650, which enables people to relax at night or during the day, when the weather is not as sunny as it usually is. 

Summer

During the summer, several activities are available, maybe even more than in the winter. People can hike, fish, climb, ride horse, or bike at various locations. Courchevel being located near the Parc Naturel de la Vanoise, the variety and the beauty of the landscapes will catch your breath. After an exhausting day, people can go to the Forum or the movie theatres, which are open in the summer.

Near Courchevel 1550, people can go to the swimming pool, play French bowls, practice archery, play basketball, or play tennis on one of the twelve tennis courts open all day. 

People looking for more extreme sensations can discover paragliding in tandem flights. They can also try white water sports, such as canyoning, rafting or hydrospeed. They can finally travel trough the forest on special quad bike trails and witness some amazing views.

Finally, golf buffs will also be able to play or take lessons on 9 compact holes, while their children will practice on the mini-golf, play beach-volley, play ping-pong, go to the ice rink to do some ice skating or use trampolines near La Croisette in Courcehevel 1850.
