Infrastructures

Courchevel would not be so prestigious without all its infrastructures.

Courchevel is part of the Trois Vallées, the biggest ski resort in the world. The ski lifts are open from the beginning of December to the beginning of May, every year, and the quality of the snow is reputed to be among the best in Europe, given its geographical location. Thanks to the snow machines, it is still the case even when there has been limited snow falls.

The ski lifts are all among the most modern in the world, which enables the skiers to spend not too much time in them, but to enjoy the slopes. The most famous ski lift in Courchevel is the Téléphérique, the fastest one in the world, where more than 160 people can take place at the same time. There are 63 skilifts altogether that can carry more than 70.000 people per hour.

Courchevel also has over 32.000 beds available, in hotels, residences and apartments. Whether you prefer a hotel room, a room in a holidays centre, a chalet, an apartment in a luxury chalet, in tourist residence, in a holidays center, renting a furnished or contact a real estate agency, there is accommodation to correspond to your style and your wishes.

Courchevel has more than fifteen 4-stars hotels, three gastronomic restaurants (Le Chabichou and Le Bateau Ivre, both 2-stars in the Guide Michelin, and Le Farson, 1-star in the Guide Michelin), many 3-stars hotels and excellent restaurants, which makes it the best place to sleep and to enjoy French food in the Alps.

It is also very well disserved through road, train (Moûtiers station, where the TGV comes, is only 26 kilometres away) or airplane (major cities with airports are less than 1h30 away by road, and the station even has an airstrip where small airplanes and helicopters can land).
